Owner and Head Trainer – Rachel R. Ardery. Above the Bar Sport Horses was founded in 2017 by Rachel R. Ardery. Rachel has a total of 26 years in the horse industry as a competitor, barn manager, coach, and equine sales broker.

Rachel grew up riding in Columbus, Ohio, where she piloted both horses + ponies and claimed championships in the hunters, equitation, and AQHA rings. She has since ridden with various trainers across the southeast, taught clientele of all levels, and managed several barns along the way. Rachel teaches hunters, jumpers, and equitation, but her specialty and heart lie in the hunter /equitation rings.

In addition, she has 13+ years of experience in the corporate world working for start-up businesses. Rachel is known for turning visions into reality and boasts a hustler mentality, no job is too small or big.Her passion lies in creating the ultimate client experience for both client and horse. Her grit, love for the horse, and knowledge make her unique and ensure an above the bar experience no matter the service you choose.
