Upon arrival at (ATB), your horse will be evaluated and an individualized training and nutrition program created for your horse. All consignments horses are required to be in a full training program to keep them in top shape for potential buyers. Above the Bar sells and markets primarily hunter, jumper, and equitation mounts for the USEF and AQHA circuits.

Rachel strongly believes in working for the horse first, buyer/seller second therefore, finding the perfect human for your horse is our top priority. Each horse’s program will be individualized to fit your horse’s needs.

Our Program

4-6 days of riding to include flatwork, jumping, groundwork, and hacks
Tribute feed fed twice per day
An abundant amount of grass hay and Alfalfa as Rachel sees fit
Lush green pastures for turnout, private turnout available
Stall during the day in the summer under fans or at night in the winter.
Full stall consignment with limited turnout is available
We operate out of a beautiful 60 stall facility that has 2 outdoor arenas, an indoor plus access to multiple therapies, and recovery equipment.

Consignment Packages

(ATB) offers three consignment packages to choose from. All horses entering (ATB) are required to be under contract. Please inquire for a price list.

10% COMMISSION

(ATB PLATINUM)

This is our most popular consignment package as it is very close to all inclusive. You will be required to pay a fixed amount monthly and (ATB) will take care of the rest. Veterinary care and showing are excluded in this package. When your horse sells, you will be responsible for paying (ATB) a 10% commission on the purchase price on the horse you consigned.

15% COMMISSION

(ATB SILVER)

You will be required to pay a fixed amount monthly to cover your horse’s board, consignment (selling efforts) and training. In addition, you will be responsible for your horses supplements, veterinary care, farrier care, and showing (if applicable). When your horse sells, you will be responsible for paying (ATB) a 15% commission on the purchase price on the horse you consigned.

20% COMMISSION

(ATB GOLD)

Like Silver but at a reduced price, you will be required to pay a fixed amount monthly to cover your horse’s board, consignment (selling efforts) and training. In addition, you will be responsible for your horses supplements, veterinary care, farrier care, and showing (if applicable). When your horse sells, you will be responsible for paying (ATB) a 20% commission on the purchase price on the horse you consigned.

I highly recommend Above The Bar Sport Horses for your buying and selling needs. Your experience with Rachel will be A+. I buy a lot of horses online over video, over the years ive gotten more and more gun shy about it as many of the horses are mis-represented. A lot of trainers/agents don’t really listen to what your looking for and your needs in a horse, they are just trying to push a sale.
